You have agreed the quote
A flat figure, given before any work starts, and the same figure that ends up on the invoice. Until it is agreed there is nothing to count from.

The promise
Seven days from the day the build starts. Not seven days to a proposal, and not seven days to a first draft.
It is the thing we are asked to justify most often, so here is the whole of it: what the seven days covers, what starts the clock, what stops it, and why we are able to promise it when most cannot.
Live, on your own domain, taking enquiries. Not a staging link, and not a page that still needs a week of fixing after you see it.
01 · Starting
Three things have to be true. Then day one begins.
A flat figure, given before any work starts, and the same figure that ends up on the invoice. Until it is agreed there is nothing to count from.
The words, images and anything else that has to appear on the site. We will tell you exactly what is needed, and we are happy to work from rough notes rather than finished copy.
Usually the domain, and any accounts the site has to connect to. Small list, and we send it to you in writing so nothing is a surprise.
02 · Pausing
One thing, and it is the honest part of the promise.
If we are waiting on content or access, the clock pauses until it arrives. It restarts the day it does. We say so the moment it happens rather than letting the days quietly run out and calling it a delay at the end.
If you want something that was not in the agreed quote, we will price it separately and tell you what it does to the date before doing any of it. We do not add it to the bill and we do not let it swallow the deadline without saying so.
03 · Why
Not because we cut corners. Because half the work is no longer done by hand.
The boilerplate, the first drafts, the test passes, all the parts that used to quietly eat days. That is where the week comes from, and it is also why the price is what it is.
What is worth building, how it should feel, and everything that has to be right. No AI decides what your business needs, and nothing ships that neither of us has looked at.
You are not waiting behind an account manager, a scheduling meeting or another client's escalation. One of the two founders builds it, start to finish.
Ready to start the seven days?
Describe what you need in a sentence. You get a flat quote back, and the clock does not start until you have agreed it.
We have not yet, and the promise would be worth nothing if there were no answer to this. If the date slips for a reason that is ours, you hear it from us before the day arrives, with a new date and the reason in plain words. You are never left working it out from silence.
The written version of all of this lives in our terms, and it says the same thing. If the two ever disagree, the terms are the ones you can hold us to.
