Legal
Terms
These cover using this website. The terms of any actual project are set out separately in the quote and agreement you sign before work starts — those are the ones that govern the work itself.
Using this site
You are welcome to read it, share links to it, and use the forms to get in touch. Please don't attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at volume, or submit the forms automatically.
What's on the site
The content here describes what we do and how we work. It is written to be accurate, but it is a description, not a contractual offer. Anything binding — scope, price, timing — appears in the written quote we send you.
Our commitments, in practice
The commitments stated across this site are how we run engagements, and we mean them. For clarity on how they apply:
- Reply within one hour — during our working hours. Messages that arrive overnight get answered when the day starts.
- Live within seven days — counted from the day the build begins, which is after the quote is agreed and we have the content and access we need from you. Delays in getting those pause the clock.
- Flat quote — the agreed figure is the invoiced figure for the agreed scope. If you ask for something outside that scope mid-project, we will quote it separately before doing it rather than adding it to the bill.
- No lock-in on retainers — cancel with the short notice period stated in your agreement.
Intellectual property
The Unbrek name, logo and the design of this site belong to us. Ownership of anything we build for a client is set out in that client's agreement.
Third-party services
This site relies on a hosting provider, a transactional email service for form delivery, and Google Fonts for typography. Their availability is outside our control. See the privacy page for what that means for your data.
Liability
We provide this website as-is. We are not liable for losses arising from relying on general information published here — for a decision that matters, talk to us and get it in writing.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date below reflects the current version.
